Biot Parachute Mayfly
by Craig Gittings
The Biot Parachute Mayfly is essentially a "kicked up"
version of the popular Parachute Adams, utilizing Goose Biot for a very attractive
body and foam for the post of the parachute. The foam aids in both flotation
and visibility.
The fly imitates mayfly adults, emergers, and cripples. Fish it in stillwaters or quieter stretches of stream/rivers, using a cast and wait presentation with floating line, 12 ft leader, and fluorocarbon 5x - 6x tippet.
